Optimizing Application Security Through Bad Behavior

Posted by Load Impact on Jul 23, 2015

In the theme of "Throwback Thursday," we want to revisit one of our favorite Keynotes from Velocity in Santa Clara, Calif. earlier this year.

This presentation by Laura Bell of SafeStack.io challenges developers to think like thieves and other bad people in order to preserve application security. The keynote was wildly popular at the conference and on social media because of the great ideas and Laura's authoritative, witty (and maybe a little playfully sarcastic) delivery.

And while we're on the topic of awesome Velocity presentations, Load Impact founder and lead ops engineer Ragnar Lonn will be outlining the performance differences between HTTP/2 and HTTP/1.1 at the New York conference in October. If you plan on going, drop us a line — we'd love to connect!
